About My Therapy Practice
Our bodies and our minds are naturally designed to protect us, to keep us safe. But sometimes we need a guide, a support, to help us move through the parts that have been tucked away in a seemingly safe place but still feel tender. I’d like to be that guide, that support, to help you unfold the parts that may be stuck.
A Bit About Me
I grew up surrounded by nature and beauty in Northern California. I completed my undergraduate degree in Sociology at Biola University in La Mirada, CA with a minor in Biblical Studies. In 2012, I began my graduate studies at New York University, earning a Master’s in Social Work specializing in geriatric and end of life care. I have been a Licensed Clinician for four years and feel honored to have a practice where I can use EMDR techniques to help others heal.
I’m an Enneagram #2, “The Helper,” and fully believe that this is the work I was made to do. My practice provides the support patients need to do hard work in a safe space. I long to establish deep relationships with my clients as well as those I share my everyday life with.
My joys in life are my family and my friends, and of course, my goldendoodle, Darla. Nature grounds me, so I enjoy being outside, especially with a film camera that captures special moments with nature or the people in my life.
